Discounts, add ons and personalization

Discounts

Offers → Discounts has three kinds:

• Buy X get Y: buy some products, get others (or the same) free or at a discount.
• Volume discounts: tiers by quantity, shown on the product page.
• Gift with purchase: a free gift once the cart reaches an amount.

Shopify applies them at checkout through the app’s automatic discount.

Add ons

Extras ticked under Add to cart, such as gift wrapping, added together with the product, plus an optional gift message saved on the order. Choose a list or cards, your heading and colours, and where it shows (all products, specific products or collections). Add ons are never ticked in advance.

Personalization

Text fields (for example a name to engrave) with a live preview on the product picture, colour choices, required fields, a character limit and an optional fee. The choices are saved on the order with the item.
